Classer les objets et les exp\u00e9riences est essentiel pour l\u2019humain, car cela lui permet de g\u00e9rer efficacement les informations. Mais quelles forces influencent le d\u00e9veloppement des syst\u00e8mes de classification nominale ? <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ces syst\u00e8mes cat\u00e9gorisent les noms de mani\u00e8re vari\u00e9e. Par exemple, le fran\u00e7ais distingue le masculin et le f\u00e9minin, tandis que le swahili (parl\u00e9 dans toute l\u2019Afrique de l&rsquo;est et dans une partie de l&rsquo;Afrique centrale) classe selon des cat\u00e9gories comme les humains ou les plantes. Le mandarin, lui, classe selon la forme et la fonction des objets avec des classificateurs.
